'73 Chevelle SS Wagon (local find)

This is why I want to get a decent sized metal building put up somewhere on some cheap land... I'd love to be able to throw money away here or there and just have some decent storage to put them in for the day when I can enjoy them or restore and sell them or something.

What have you done to your square lately??

I broke both the passenger and driver side clips on the plastic piece that covers the two headlights. Broke both sides because I forgot which headlight was out until I broke the first one, so I put it back on and proceeded to break the correct one. Next I also broke the fragile bottom of it...

Door rebuild - what should I get in preparation?

My driver side power window (87 R10) has decided to chew through something in the last month and has 3 areas where I have to lift the window manually to get it to go up to the next teeth that will catch. I'm assuming this happening because some old plastic parts in there with a new(er) motor...

Looking into a new compact car.

If you have the patience to wait another year or two the Cybertruck will be quite the gas saver ;) I know that's not a popular opinion around here. I just convinced my in-laws to get a Hyundai too when they got rid of their Murano. I don't think those Hyundais will hold value at all but if...

Hello all, anyone know how to verify a Spirit of 76' model?

If you Google `spirit of 1976 chevy truck spid` there is plenty of information out there on other forums, not going to link to other forums though.

Door has a loud metallic pop when closed

Does it sound like a spring or like metal contacting? My driver side door while driving down the road makes this load metal spring popping sound that scares everyone but me, and I think it is a spring in the door that needs grease or something

Just fyi - I dyed my carpet - it came out great

Man that looks great... My carpet is still decent looking but it's maroon... I wonder how that would turn out using that same black over top of it

1987 all original gmc sierra classic Value?

Could probably get at least $1,500 based on the description. Like said above, a lot of other factors drive the value up from there but very subjective and what someone is actually willing to give you cash money for.

Do I need a block heater?

All other places on the internet claim how men mansplain things to women. Here, we just all try to keep up with the womens knowledge on trucks.... Maybe not everyone, but me? I need some auroragirlsplainin at times

Driveshaft backing out of the tranny?

Cool thanks guys. I'm going to cover everything up and spray some degreaser on it and see if I can clean it and replace those seals. Seems like a good job to have a shop do for me but I can't find anyone in the area that wants to touch my truck nor redo driveshafts for the mustang in my garage...

Driveshaft backing out of the tranny?

Well this looks like the culprit - http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/drivetrain/yokeleak.htm - but still odd that it's backed out that far right?

Driveshaft backing out of the tranny?

Noticed a red leak under the truck so just snapped this photo - I see the clean part of the yoke there it looks like it is backing out of the tranny and the leak is definitely coming from there. I've only owned the truck about six months and can't imagine if it were like this when I...

    Off to paint!!

I'm jealous of your workshop there looks really nice. The worst part for me of taking it to get some new paint was the wait. Took about four weeks before I got it back. Looks like you did a lot more prep work than me though :)
