    O'Reilly sux balls !!!

I use Rock Auto almost exclusively these days because I can not only get a better price from them but a lot of times I can still get OEM parts from them so it makes it worthwhile IMO. The only time I got to the parts stores (O'Reillys usually) is for fluids and stuff.

Anyone have a LS swapped 3+3?

That 6L90E is what will make the most difference. It's more suited for a big truck than than the 6L80E is regardless if you go 6.0 or 6.2

Anyone have a LS swapped 3+3?

About 13 mpg so not bad. Being TBI and having that overdrive makes a world of difference.

Anyone have a LS swapped 3+3?

My 91 has the stock 454 and 4L80e and it's got plenty of power and giddy up, honestly. It's another reason why I'm not in a hurry to swap until it's already used up and tired (only has 87k miles on it currently). So the vortec would probably more than sufficient especially if you don't have to...

Anyone have a LS swapped 3+3?

IF it was me, I'd use the 6.0 or 6.2. I just don't think the 5.3 has the torque to move the 3+3 dually down the road real well. My dually is pretty low miles so I've got years before I have to worry about engine swaps but when the time does come I'll be going the 6.2 route. Just my $.02 cents...

Is this the original bed on my 85 Chevy k10

With the round gas filler hole I believe that's a 73-79 bed.

    Amazon TIG welders?

This....don't get a machine based on what you are planning on doing today but what you might do in the future (such as welding aluminum). I'd also not waste money on a poor quality machine. I'd spend the extra to get a good quality machine so that you only have to buy once and not have to worry...

Yes, or get this from Rock Auto for cheaper and probably better quality. No telling what brand LMC is selling....

Jegs Wiring harness versus Painless Wiring Harness

Wiring is another area where "you get what you pay for". I would not cheap out and Painless has a solid reputation. Unless Jegs can tell you who actually makes their harness and that manufacturer has a good reputation like Painless (or maybe it even IS Painless) then I'd spend the extra coin and...
