    Front posi-traction differential

If the G80 is such a terrible diff then what's the problem? It is not necessarily a street truck it's going in, plus if it has manual hubs, what's the problem?

I just saw a video of a Jeep with rockslider/steps with an extra long step but don't know who made it as the way they come down is unlike the Amp ones.

Do all V1500 come with Double Cardan Joints?

That's good to know as I was going to replace this while I have someone in there but it is probably cheaper to replace the front shaft.

Do all V1500 come with Double Cardan Joints?

Dana Spicer list my 89 K5/V1500 as coming with a double cardan joint on the front driveshaft at the T case. Is this correct?

    For the Handicapped

This is a good idea, but when pulling with one arm throws your body weight to one side. Now this is just precious. financially no It's just my right leg that is weakest, my left leg is strong. Truck has leaf springs Again when you pull with only one arm it throws your weight off. Last one...

    For the Handicapped

That's what I'm doing now to get in at times. I am 6'4" and the way I get in now is to back in hooking a butt cheek on the edge of the seat cushion while shimmying in. If I can't do that I get out the step.

Or something like this that I can attach to underneath and slide back under the chassis all hidden. Not sure if I need as many rungs as this and might need the steps closer together. This is just a thought tell me if I'm not able to.

Wheel not centered in. . .

I'm sorry I think I worded it wrong when I said "will not turn as far as the other," I intended to say with contacting the rear of the fender on the right side compared to the left side. By saying what my friend said about squarebody's thru everyone off. I'm sorry about my wording as I've had...

Wheel not centered in. . .

I don't see it being a steering issue as much as a centering-of-the-wheel issue. I think it is a leaf spring center pin because the leaf springs were replaced. But wouldn't it drive funny, because it drives great?

Wheel not centered in. . .

front wheel well compared to the other side. My friend said it is a squarebody thing where one side will not turn as far as the other, is this true? He said it has something to do with the 4wd steering linkage. The reason I ask is I put 33s on 89 K5 stock suspension and the passenger said makes...

NEW Tire Purchases - Sizes, Deals and Reviews !!!

The manager of the Firestone store had a set on his Explorer and had over 90k miles on his tires. That was the other thing that they lasted too long having people drive them way past the stated mileage because they still weren't worn out. This is if they were properly inflated and rotated.

NEW Tire Purchases - Sizes, Deals and Reviews !!!

@HotRodPC My info on the Firestone/Explorer deal was Ford was getting customer complaints about the harsh ride of the Explorer. Ford decided to adjust the tire inflation sticker in the door jamb down below Firestone's minimum air pressure that they deemed necessary for the weight without...
