I Think I Have An Addiction...

I'm actually looking to expand my fleet a little. I've been looking off and on for a Model A Ford for the last few months. I want one in original condition if possible. No street rod types, etc. Just like anything else, the ones that are in decent original condition disappear before you can...

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

Congrats on the van. We purchased a full size van back in 2015 to use to transport my then handicapped mother. After she passed, we have kept it around and it is honestly one of the most useful vehicles that I own.

What new tools have you got lately?

Unboxed the new generator this morning and I am running a breakin cycle. Nearly identical to my iGen2200 and Generac GP2200i with the exception of the slightly larger engine and a few minor details.

What new tools have you got lately?

I ordered this earlier today. I'm super excited with the price. $399 for a small inverter is a good deal. I already have the smaller iGen2200 and it has been very good and I have used it a lot. I was looking for one more small inverter and this will certainly fit the bill...

Put that recently found chain to work pulling a few dozen old fence posts today. Lifted them right out.

We have vacationed in St. Augustine every year for nearly the last 20 years. We absolutely love that area of Florida.

What new tools have you got lately?

Found this chain in my barn yesterday. Absolutely no idea where it came from. Anyway, looks to be a nice old heavy chain.

    Protecting catalytic converters?

We had an extensive conversation over on an RV forum about this recently since so many motorhomes are being hit in storage yards. One of the things discussed over there was welding a cage of steel tubing around the converter to make it much more difficult to remove. In reality, the only thing...

    Need help. 2009 Titan

$12K.......? Oh heck no! Not for that price. I was thinking that you were getting it much cheaper than that from your father-in-law.

    Need help. 2009 Titan

If the price is right, I wouldn't be afraid of it. If it is the beginning of the PCV/sludge issue as in the video, it appears to be a fairly minor fix if it gets to that point.

Rust free Az k20. Nice extras.

I really wish that this one was closer home. That is a good looking truck.

What new tools have you got lately?

The the US General boxes are really hard to beat for the money. I picked one up at Harbor Freight a few years ago and I have been completely satisfied with it.

Looking into a new compact car.

I can't offer a long term review for you, but I did have a Spark (or Sonic I can't remember for sure) as a rental last year. Quite a nice little car for what it was. The thing that really surprised me was the amount of interior room for such a small car. I'm a fairly large person, approx 235#...

Needing advice about my 1982 C10 please?!

I hate to give you a non answer, but it is nearly impossible to evaluate the true value of something over the internet. Market conditions in your area would be considerably different than they would be in PA for example. Around here, your truck would be well sought after, not necessarily to...

Needing advice about my 1982 C10 please?!

It seems by your post that you have made up your mind to get rid of the truck instead of letting it sit. If that is the case, there is nothing wrong with that decision. And in fact, since it appears to be a major point of contention in your family, it may be much better for all involved once...

    1973 Camper Special,Stepside,Dooley

It's not too far from me and it definitely looks like a western PA truck underneath. I don't have the time to waste going to look at it, but I'd love to see what that thing actually looks like in person. I can only imagine.

What new tools have you got lately?

Thanks. It went on really well. It took a little longer than I expected to get in to all of the frame areas with the 360 wand. But, I think it was worth the effort. Here is the link to the new undercoating gun that I was using for the first time. I'm very pleased with it...

What new tools have you got lately?

Put that new undercoating gun that I posted a little while ago to use for the 1st time today. I have to say that I am really impressed with it. A couple pics of Fluid Film application using it.

    My new acquisition

It sure does look good. Around here, that truck would pull a pretty good price. We simply don't find them in that kind of shape in our area.

    1979 Chevy K10 First Build!

Sounds like you found a great deal. I am biased, but that '79 front end style is my favorite of all the square body variations.
