175 200K as long as engine is clean inside These motors can run forever as long as they were well maintained. In houston I have been picking up engines with as low as 44000 to 77000 miles.

Very true. I believe the thinnest adapter you can get is 1/2 inch. A spacer is suicide if not custom built PERIOD!!!

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

here is a comparison from the k20 and k10. The k20 looks almost normal due to the big tires. the k10 looks weird due to the small tires. I may even go 235/75/15 :33: I want that simple old man truck look. Nothing fancy. Thats what I have the k20 for.

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

Start at 2:47 time mark. I would never use a spacer more that a half inch thick and I would never use a adapter more than 2 inch thick. I have ran 1.5 adapters on 500HP street cars with ZERO ISSUES!! Its all in the material and brand you use. Buy cheap stuff that are NOT HUBCENTRIC and your...

Glad to see I'm not the only one that does not like this look. Now on the k20, it's barely noticeable because of the big tires. But still noticeable. I plan to keep smaller tires on the k10, So I want the wheelbase to look normal :favorites13:

73/87 are all skid plates the same for transfer case? Im looking for one.

Mods please delete this thread. I could not see it from the side. So i figure I did not have one. I was looking at pictures to see what crossmember I have and seen the plate bolted to the crossmember. At least im pretty sure thats the plate. My bad.

My k10 does not have one. I would like to put one on. I found a 1980 skid plate but want to make sure they are all the same, or if there are certain years for fitment. Thanks

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

I know this is normal for k10/k20. Not sure the reason or why GM did this. I was once told it was due to the turning radius. My question is, Im guessing 1 1/2 inch adapters could correct this weird look. is there any negative to pulling the wheels out level with the fronts. I dont see why not...
