Muffler recommendations
I used resonators from Lyell’s Stainless Exhaust in Ontario for the mufflers for the sidepipes I made for the 76. They are basically glasspack mufflers. They sound like glass packs. However they also make and sell chambered type mufflers of various configurations, might be worth checking out...- legopnuematic

Rear brake bleeding struggles
No, not on a full floater. Remove the bolts on the axle flange, have a drain pan ready, slide axle out. (Dana 70u) Semi floater C clip type axles yes, like 14b SF, 10,12 bolts, the cross pin must be removed from the carrier to push axle in to remove c clips to remove axles. You have a k20? 1974 would be a full float 14 bolt. 12/10 bolts came in half tons. Inboard rotors/drums are not as convenient as if they were outboard, but not really a big deal overall. No the chain/front output should not spin in 2 hi. If there is no front driveshaft/unlocked hubs/cad axle unlocked it could potentially spin, but only due to parasitic drag and such. No torque being transferred. If that makes sense.- legopnuematic

First time "real" painting.
I cannot speak to that specific epoxy you used, but for the Tamco epoxy products, that outside of the recoat window, just sand 180-220 and apply filler on top of the epoxy (after normal cleaning procedures, of course). Same for their 5300 series high build primers. I have done it both ways...- legopnuematic

What new tools have you got lately?
Picked up a Greenerd #3 arbor press for $20, someone cut up where the daisy wheel would go and missing handle, a Craftsman vise (made by Reed) and another sad vise for $5 each at the event I attended last weekend. They all need some love and tlc but for those prices I got some room to work on them.- legopnuematic
