It's just the bottom portion of the tubing they use to make it on that style arm. I'll see if I can find a picture. On some arms they go ahead an bevel it but for some reason on c10 arms they don't.- bluex

With tubular arms you should be ok with a 15x8. At the most you might have to trim the lower portion of the ball joint cup if they left it long.- bluex

Show your daily driver
Not everyday driver per say but taking some of that duty since I sold the charger an got the mechanicals mostly sorted on it an got it dropped. I can also semi retire the C10 from truck related duty now too.- bluex

Well obviously there is more of a difference in the cheap spindles versus name brand, in these 1 ton 92-00 ones anyhow. Not seen such a drastic difference in C10/C1500 spindles though.- bluex

I've been studying this since you posted it. I like it both ways an can't really decide which one would be "better" I understand your indecision an hope mine helps out in some way :lol: -

I've honestly never tried but I'm about to if I can find someone with a big press lol. At this point they are useless to me and anyone else so why not. Guys I appreciate all the suggestions, but this isn't a normal slight oversized an some sandpaper will fix it. I've lowered a bunch of trucks...- bluex

It's the inner bearing, it has to be packed, in the rotor with the seal. Plus heating only gives you a few thousands of clearance. I need over half a millimeter or 2/10s of an inch. I tried sanding on it, made nearly no difference after 45 mins. I have spoken to 1 machine shop an the only way...- bluex

In the GMT 400 series 1/2 ton an "LD" 3/4 ton (aka 6 lug 2wd) use the same spindle. The 8 lugs (real 3/4 an 1 ton) use the same spindle also. The only thing that takes a bigger wheel bearing is a 3500HD, which has an ID of 42.8mm. My outer bearing fits perfectly they just didn't finish machining...- bluex

Stock spindle measurements: Spindles for the 1 tons are not as common an nearly everyone is currently out of stock so I'm having trouble locating a replacement set as well. The big name ones are all showing mid Jan delivery dates an even the cheap ones on eBay are early Feb. Again just...- bluex

OK folks I need to add a disclaimer here regarding spindles. I still stand by my statements that they are all pretty much the same an get them from whoever has the best price. However.... When they come in, check them out very well. I bought a set off ebay on a closeout sale for my 99...- bluex

Front Brake hose stamped nut
If you have your old one still take it to the hardware store an you can get a regular nut to replace it. I've done it in the past but can't recall the thread size.- bluex

I did a few without the outline I think. I can't remember exactly. At one point shaggy wanted me to handle the subscription member stuff but it was turning into way more than I had time to handle. -

I did do them for a short while. I just got way too busy to keep them up. I still have the designs an machine but the software is out of date now an I don't really want to renew it lol. -
Retrofitting a 79-87 bed on a 73
I had an 85 bed on my 78 for a while. It has a 75 bed on it now. The tailgate will work but you'll have to use everything associated with it on the new bed. You'll also have to cut the notches in the bed for the guide tabs. I have a nice oe 77-80 gate that's been on both beds now. Fuel door...- bluex

What Air management for ‘89 crewcab?
The level ride system is upgradeable as well. You can start pressure only an add height sensors later.- bluex
