    Wing Windows

Since you are in Arizona...give a call to Truckin Krazy in Mesa. He has an exchange service for rebuilt assemblies. Both PRP and Truckin Krazy will be onsite as vendors at tomorrows Reunion Truck Show in Chandler. Might be able to show up and walk away with a new set. Also, LMC is there and...

Crewcab body swap on Regular Cab C&C 159.5" WB?

Seems like it would look ok.

C10 LIMITED SLIP VS LOCKER VS SPOOL

I'd probably start by addressing the 305...probably not too many burnouts going to happen at this stage. My 0.02 cents, is a tru-trac and upgraded axles. Not the best in any situation but works really well in almost all situations. Most of the other set-ups are very purpose-built and most aren't...

    Flip kit?

Which is why I suggested you bring it to a suspension shop. 2-3 hours labor and it's done right and no brackets to ever worry about.

    Flip kit?

I usually make my own. Usually about $20 for leaf spring mounts and an hour to weld them on. If you can't do it, any suspension shop should be able to.

Building a bed from new parts- Front panel difference? ETA- Fixed using all AMD panels

When i lived in Fort Worth, I would order large parts from vendors and pick up at Goodguys and Pate swap meet at TMS. Saved me hundreds if not thousands on shipping.

Funny sound, look what he found

I'm surprised that the belt didn't cut the hose. When I was a teenager, I worked at a R&D shop and the senior engineer, who was in his 70's, specialized in airflow and was retired from NASA and other aerospace jobs, made me sit through a 2 hour lecture of his on the difference between harmonics...

    Craziest antitheft idea yet.

My opinion, the carguard steering column locks are one of the best devices to prevent theft. Turn the wheel all the way to one side, put the column guard on and they can't start the vehicle or turn the wheels straight which makes it awkward to tow. Unfortunately, its hard to find the originals...

    Looking for hood stripes

Google Low Sierra, phoenixgraffix, and there is a 3rd one that makes the stripes but don't remember the name. Rhymes with visine, Vaseline, Yasmine or something

Building a bed from new parts- Front panel difference? ETA- Fixed using all AMD panels

For the bed front panel. I think, but don't remember for sure, was just a cosmetic difference in the embossing/ stamping design. I think only the wood floor had a different lip on the bottom. Although they interchange, the bedsides have different cosmetic stamping on the inside. For large...

    Top Radiator Clamps

I have one of these I can sell cheap if anyone needs it. I powdercoated it so it looks like new. I ended up going with a taller radiator to help with the AZ summer.

'85 C10 tire fit/stuff question (not the normal questions you're used to seeing here)

CJ10...those are rare! I've been looking for an export version for a few years with the truck bed. Did yours start off as a tug? I don't think most know how big these Jeeps are.

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

Here is my 2 personal experiences... First, on my K5 Blazer that had D60/14BFF combo, I found that I couldn't fit it between the wheelwells of a lot of trailers, unless I backed it on. My kids both went through Cub Scouts and one of the big events is Pinewood Derby. I noticed early on, one...

    freshening up my 350 (1986)

That's why I think its an oil ring issue. I've had those spacers pop out of the rails once or twice in my life and jam up and/or a rail fold over.

Oil ring spacer came out of the rails I think.

    Spray vs Plastic Bedliner

There are a few companies that make a product that has a removeable hook that goes into a rivnut in the sheetmetal. I installed some on my friend's fathers truck. He used to keep a hook in the center of the bed to attach his dog's lead to and removed and had them at the four corners for when he...

    Spray vs Plastic Bedliner

Fleet-side owners can gloat too, as a wood bed floor was available 73-79 for an extra $100.

'81 C30 Regular cab DRW Drop

As for your suspension plans, I'd do a spindle up front to maintain ride/ geometry as best as possible. You can always trim a coil or install a drop coil if you want more later. I've seen people address the pinion angle various ways; nothing, shims, 1 piece shafts, drop carrier bearings, etc...

'81 C30 Regular cab DRW Drop

I don't know what would be different on single cab vs. crew cab other than possibly a driveshaft issue. I have a crew cab and plan to do a mild lowering on it. My plans as of now and they have changed a few times is to do a drop spindle up front. For the rear, I plan to have new leafs made at...

    What Classic Insurance to get?

I believe Hagerty is the way to go however I had one issue that seems no one else has/had... I currently have Hagerty on 3-4 vehicles through my local State Farm agent. Previously I had Hagerty, that I got direct, and they dropped me once I had a teen driver and stated that they won't insure w/...

How... do you build a stepside?

If you want hidden fasteners, you can tack weld nuts to the inside of the rails and put the 8 bolts in from the bottom. This is my son's with hidden fasteners.

    Heater Core question

Just a reminder... If you use any aluminum in your engine; radiator, heater core, intake, heads, block, etc., you should install a sacrificial anode. They cost $20 and can help protect your parts. Also, always use distilled water. grading of aluminum.
