Glove box lock
I didn't buy either new, but my '89 Jimmy(K5) and '90 CC both had glove box locks when I bought them. C10 lift kit?? 7 inches?!?!
Don't forget shocks and extended brake lines. Also, you need to buy an ord frame brace for the steering box or you'll crack the frame pretty quickly. I'd suggest you also buy the triangulation brackets from Ride tech so you have the frame braced on both sides of box. Cheap upgrade is to drill...- Bennyt

I think you could probably trade straight across for a K10 if thats what you prefer. They are both worth about the same. I think that the question is that a lifted 2wd really serves no purpose other than for looks which is fine for some and not others. It's your truck and you do what you want...- Bennyt

C10 lift kit?? 7 inches?!?!
I would look for a lift spindle that uses a hub and not tapered roller bearings. Will live a lot longer. You cannot scrimp on bearings with big/ heavy wheel/ tire combos. If it were me and I really wanted to lift a 2wd high, i'd build a subframe and some control arms. Look for shops that build...- Bennyt

Repopped Fender Badges-where to buy quality badges?

Just an FYI as long as you are buying a new one. Pioneer sells an HD version flexplate. It used to be only $5-10 more at O'Reillys with an account but it is considerably thicker and better quality.
