Man that happens bad in my 84 K10, not so much in my 86 C10. I wonder if it's because the 86 sits high in the rear and the 84 sits level? -

Cardboard thing behind seat.
I've seen the cardboard unit go for a hefty price on a couple sites. Unless you are looking at a correct restoration I'd make my own. I haven't but have seen some pics of homemade ones that look good and are much more functional than the original part. -

Nice truck! Welcome. I've always liked K&N but I run a paper filter in my daily C10. I currently have open type air cleaners but will definitely be moving toward replacing them with factory style cooler air units. With ac running on a hot summer day in my k10 I'm having some issues with fuel...- donnieray

"Proper Starting procedure" for Squarebody
I love the way a random thread will just blow the hell up here! I've always pumped the pedal three or four times on cold starts on anything with a carb. One pump has been doing the trick for now, we will see how it works in cooler weather.- donnieray

Steering wheel new, older, newer than original
I like that wheel. I have one in my 86 C-10. It's rubber coated though. -
