    The doors increased in weight but the hinges are basically like squares, right? so the extra weight and size and larger glass on the same hardware in the same amount of time = sag city? The 1996 i have doesnt have too bad of a drivers door surprisingly, for a silverado trim door.

    the short foot adapter on the curvy crossmember will give you better exhaust clearance and is stronger design adapter (if your Nv swap uses the adapter as is?) you may have to move the crossmember foreward or back in order to match where the transmission demands it.

    stop touching your timing!! The first and most obvious thing to check is you have the wires on wrong or your mechanical advance is stuck out. Confirm thats fine before anything else

    the trans originally had a z bar clutch, did you have a hydraulic setup to put on it? I see you said you had the bellhousing and all the stuff for it, just making sure they were hydraulic (for an 87) but if you have an earlier 80s, it may be z bar. zbar setup will need more parts if your truck...
