Springs and sway bars control body roll. Almost exclusively. Other stuff helps other stuff. Rear shocks orientation isn’t contributing to it either.- Grit dog

Defrost doesn’t work
I don’t even want to look at the broken part but the defrost doesn’t work in the 77. Figure gotta take the heater box out at some point lol. Not the first time. -

I didn’t see where he said it’s 1 ton axles. But regardless, yeah it’s either a deal or not for someone. Super cool but a limited buyers market. If you look past the lift and 3 grand in tires and wheels it’s a $3-4k truck bad engine, mismatched axles, other fcked up chit, needs interior work... -

Rebuilding my dash pad.
Have seen some nice dash pad rebuilds. If you’ve done upholstery work should be not too difficult for you. Common theme is the nicest looking ones were topped with a stretch fabric. -
Bleeding rear brakes on 1978 C30 dually
If the wheel cylinder is new, the bleeder isn’t rusted in so just use an open end wrench. If there’s not room to get a box wrench over the end, that sucks but not until the next time 10 years from now when it’s rusted tight. I generally put a bit of antiseize on bleeder screws…..for next time. -
Front end noise
If not bearings or u joints in the front and nothing loose with the brakes, and presumably speed variable noise, I’d start looking at the front diff or transfer case. Remove front driveshaft and see if noise disappears or can isolate it further? Being full time 4wd everything is spinning all the...- Grit dog

I get it. The struggle is real. Lived in Phoenix for 2 years. First winter I ran around in shorts and flip flops all winter. 2nd year I wore a hoody and thought it was chilly sometimes! Lol. Although I resisted the urge to switch to winter oil after the AC didn’t kick in for a week! Haha all... -

Cool plan. Thought about a couple led cubes in each opening. Bright white and yellow fog. However not a fan of painting grille and bezels white though. For the $30-40 to get a pint of silver/argent. Maybe a bit less if you get creative. JMO. Your truck looks awesome even though you consider it... -

Agree 100% if I was going for the best quality and most expensive at the same time. I was assuming the high school kid wouldn’t be down for $400-500 a piece tires. Not a great value if not pounding out high miles. Any ole mudder will do the job about equally bombing around the farm and hunting...- Grit dog

Still think it would be cool to use a 81-82 bumper on a later model and have a spot in the bumper for fog lights or driving lights. -

What they said above. And do a little googling on replacing and adjusting. Not too difficult to replace. But test first like said above. Open the throttle and pump it a couple times. If you don’t see a good primer squirt of gas come out the acc pump is likely the issue.- Grit dog
