    Got this pattern using the stock shim . And .06 backlash is this acceptable?

    I need to achieve the pinion depth depth of 2.751 from center bearing to the face of pinion . I’m currently at 2.733 do I need to add or remove shims ? If so does anyone know how much ? Thank you in advance

    I did use excessive marking compound . Or shim was .034 new shim after measuring the pinion depth was I believe .038 New gears
