Picked up as close to a match as the local hardware store could get. They are not exact lengths and the heads and washers are not exactly the same size either. If need be I will saw down to necessary length. I also ordered the Motorman used GM TBI hardware set from Evil bay, and my nephew is going to look for another injector system at the county autoparts scrapyard when he goes on Sunday. New gaskets also on order from Amazon. So between all of it hoping to get stuff back to install by early next week. We will see if the hardware store match is used or if the Motorman set gets here in time and are a match. Original GM on the right, hardware store match on the left.

Also, the matched hardware are Allen not Torx.
I have had surprisingly good results shopping for bolts/screws/fasteners from Lowe's. There is an Automotive section in the bolting and I have been able to replace several fasteners over the last few years that looked just like what I removed and lost from my GMC(s).

I picked up an old, well used metal box that I'm going to use as a bed mount toolbox for my stepside. I'm planning on having someone local do some pinstriping work on it to make it stand out even more.

I believe you have a special Lowe's. Now, I gotta give them credit, they have improved their hardware selection greatly in the last few years. But for automotive type stuff, I've had way better luck with the average small town type hardware stores. Most have a great selection that's like 70% of what anyone could possibly need. Every now and again, you come across one that simply has everything and it's so damn impressive.

Got the rear of the Blazer almost welded in. Did get the posts down on the floor where they belong. I'm must have done it correctly because the bolts lined back up where they belong.

Removed the wire i had on temporarily to keep the throttle cable from slipping off and replaced it with the correct clip. Google said auto zone had them but it lied. Had to get them from Amazon.

These critical pieces aren't inconsequential. As my wife keeps reminding me, "It's the little things."

I'm hoping she's talking about attention to detail.

Drove Hillbilly Deluxe home from school today & I'm more than satisfied with the ride from the 35 Patagonia & Rough Country 6" lift. Those came from a parts '91 Sub that I bought almost 2 years ago. Still have many things to finish but the project is coming together nicely.
