I have had the amazing pleasure of learning about 454 engines really fast. So, I just finished replacing both exhaust manifolds and now I am trying to replace the 41 year old vacuum hoses. I am hating the fact that I did not take better pictures of the the hose schematic before. I have multiple diagrams of how the hoses "should" be but I honestly do not know what everything is called on the engine and where it is "located"....according to the diagram. I need this thing to be running in 4 days. Please help me!!!!

What parts specifically do you need help with locating? I'm assuming you must have removed all the hoses at the same time? It's too late now, but it's usually easier to replace one hose at a time.

Also, are you just trying to get it running within 4 days, or do you have to get it emissions tested or something?

No emissions test on vehicles over 24 yrs old in Texas.

Yup! As of the first of this year, no safety inspection on any vehicle older than 24 either.
No safety inspection for any non commercial vehicle this year. Pretty stupid as I always got behind non working brake lights even with safety inspections. But, the Fed does not require them so they were dropped.

Two main things we've noticed around town in traffic: idiots driving with no lights on in the evening or night, mostly in dark cars; and people driving badly damaged cars with missing or non functional lighting. The latter I can ALMOST understand as we had to wait four months to get my Burb into a collision repair shop after we got hit in August 2022. But it was still drivable and the lights all worked...some of these junkers belong in the wrecking yard. But if you can't afford to get it fixed or replace it...sad but true for too many working folks.
