The tank is dirt simple and fast,done this way. I don't even raise the truck. Get a cordless drill and appropriate bit and zap the filler hardware loose crawl under with your gear wrenches,pruning shears and cordless impact. Take off the ground strap with your gear wrenches,blast the bolts out that hold the tank brackets to the frame with your impact. Lower the tank enough to reach up and cut the lines going to the sender with your pruning shears.Wiggle and pull, the tank will fall, slide out from under it let the tank hit the ground pull it out by the rear tire. Swap all brackets and hoses on the ground,put on new hoses longer than you think you need, leave your tank straps just snug. Push it back up,guiding your hoses where you can reach them,align one bolt in one tank bracket to support it,now you can manipulate the tank with one hand to start other bolts Hit them with the impact.Tighten your tank straps replace your ground and fuel hoses,zap the filler back in place. If you don't have more than 5 gallons in it this is easy,if you don't have a cordless impact,this is your excuse to get one. Not posting this to be argumentative,posting it because some may not knowing,pulling everything as a unit,brackets,filler the whole shebang,and a cordless impact is the fast easy way. You may want to use a board and a scissor jack to support the tank. I can do it with one hand and one knee. If you aren't as skinny as me drive one end of the truck up on ramps. And remember if you go in thinking it's going to be hard it probably will be,if you go in thinking it will be easy it probably will be.
