Love those drill bits. My exhaust is just like yours too. Right in front of rear wheels out the side.

Yeah I find myself using the step bits more and more, similar exhaust but mine are behind the rear wheels it's funny because they sound good but I can hardly hear it unlike my 83 is dumped just before the axle is Loud ASF especially in the cab lol
How is the fit and quality of the repop taillights?
Love the bumper on that truck
Pretty good can't complain for 25$ for the set, bumper seems pretty stout and different from some of the other work bumpers I have seen my old 78 has one with the tread plate and rounded corners kinda like the one lmc sells

Mounted the fenders to draw the two tone and textured lines. Will block sand in preparation for painting after I tape, paper and spray bed liner. Supposed to be warm enough Friday and Saturday before it snows again next week. Added the emblem for the photo.

You have more patience than I. I attempted to repair one of those belts years ago. The spring uncoiled unexpectedly and it did not go well, lol.
I had to do TWO sets of belts. Take apart the replacement ones, remove covers. Take apart my old ones then switch covers. I was doing the 3rd cover before a had a spring go flying. It WAS quite surprising. Ha ha . But yes, it is incredibly tedious.

Since the knee has me somewhat sidelined, took my mom out for lunch and finally got that damn good chocolate malt I’ve been after. Boomers Drive-In doesn’t disappoint.

Wired an indicator light into the electric fan circuit to show me when the radiator fans were energized. Ended up making a mounting bracket out of a left over piece of aluminum angle and painting to match. The light appears much brighter in the photo than it really is.

Did something similar years ago to my 57 Chevy, only wired the fan circuit into the unused “GEN” light in the instrument panel. Just like knowing when the fans are on.

Looks like I need to get gas. Again. ;)

Speaking of which, does anyone have a body lift they've removed and don't need anymore? I need the front cushions in particular but I could use all four cab cushions.
