Maybe I'm missing the bolt holes. I didn't know the early ones were bolt in. I'm going to get back there and get looking. Thanks for the info.

Suburbans without the 3rd seat option didn't get the provisions in the floor. '73-'78 had a bolt-in, stationary seat. '79-'91 got the quick release seat with a folding seatback.
Yup, our '90 had no third row seat. Pulled the carpet out cause someone in it's previous owners had left food and cereal in the cargo area, so we had to evict the ants. Noticed that there were no seat sockets....other 4 square body Burbs all had third row.

To quote VGG Derek, "Well, I'll be dipped!" I checked it out this morning and I have 6 threaded bosses. Two in the front and four in the back. I assume that the outside 4 corners were for the seat and the two in the center back were for the belt anchors?

Yep, the outers are for the seatbelt buckles.
