Windshield Wiper Intermittent Function

It sounds to me like the intermittent wiper/ Delay module is bad or missing. It's tucked up under the dash close to the base of the steering colum. If you lay on your back on the driver side floor you should be able to find it with a flashlight. It is rectangular with silver colored, I think aluminum, cooling fins on it. The wire steering colum wire harness and the wiper motor wire harness both plug into it. The harneses can be puged together without the module in between them so its possible that it was removed which woul also reult in just high and low wiper functions. The modules aren't in production anymore but sometimes you can find used ones on ebay.
