Finally got around to getting some progress on my 12v swap. Truck started out C30 cab and chassis. Swapped Dana 44 I had I under it. Got a 12v pump out of a 94 with a 47rh trans.

Used the gforce conversion crossmember and motor mounts. Offroad design for the Springer hangers for the straight axle.

Engine with perfect with the crossmember and mounts but will have to lift the body got clearance for trans and tcase.

Still using the dodge tcase for now, it's driver side drop. But I ain't got anything gm to mate to the 47rh. I had a 208 that I read should match, but spline was different
There are a few different input shafts for the 208…. I can’t remember which was which though.

You may also be able to swap the input shaft from a 241 into a 208, those two TC’s are nearly identical inside

That's interesting, I should definitely look into that

Installed 2 inch body left and painted. Pretty sure I essed up the lines and position of the white stripe but what's done is done now, lol. Have new doors on order. Need to paint the hood, cowl and can visor as well. Put some old doors and the hood on for now to make her weather tight while I went back to work. Hopefully have it running and driving next hitch home.

It’s said and done now, but with a little work, could have got everything tucked in without needing a body lift.

If you want to run a mechanical fan, swap out your second gen fan hub for a 1st gen one. It should give you and extra inch or so of clearance. Get the fan to match the one you get as 89-91.5 non intercooled are different from the 91.5 to 93 Intercooled.

Second gen on left, 1st gen on the right.

I've done several Cummins swaps in GM trucks.

I'm pretty sure the inputs don't swap between the 208 and 241.

But hopefully I'm wrong about that because if so, I could have fixed up one of my 208s already.
