I'm having a heck of a time finding a source for a full set of door panels for my suburban. I remember it being hard when I had my '84 C30 3+3, but jeez. Where do I find rear full manual cards for a '78 'burb?

I feel your pain. At least you have the rear ashtrays - those are unobtanium as well...

I'd gladly give them up for better door cards. I can 3D print some block offs.

Looks like I may be going with later door cards.

Look up here in the PNW.
Find Kenny Whitman on FB. He parts out a lot of squares.
And if he don’t have any, he probably knows the other guys that peddle squarebody parts around here.
The wet side of the PNW is the polar opposite of AZ. 150 days of sun a year and 6 bazillion trees. Many “junk” cars haven't seen the sun in decades even parked outdoors.

Absolutely! Just come up here an fix my cars, winterize the boat, paint some house trim or maintain the property and I’ll go parts shoppin all day! lol
On a more serious note, seems like most dash pads are cracked on anything original but door panels are generally in decent shape or better.
You’ve probably seen my pics of the blue truck, the c10 and the old 75 power wagon.
The blue truck was not garaged before I got it for 15+ years, according to one of the previous owners that had it from early 2000s to late 20teens. Those door cards only needed a shine up with a heat gun. Paint was completely cooked on the hood and roof and had been spray bombed twice from what I could tell. Don’t saw some real UV exposure.
The C10 sat outside with a truck camper on in most of the time for 40 years. Those are faded but not chalky. Dash has 1 crack in the speaker holes otherwise perfect.
The Powerwagon sat for at least 30 years in someone’s back yard and those are faded and slightly chalky but refurbish able imo. Dash is not cracked or faded.
Point being a lot of the old vehicles up here (west of the Cascades, eastern WA is sunny) have pretty fair interiors even if they’re junkers.

To anyone, I’d seriously look up that Kenny Whitman guy. I swear it seems he buys another square like every week.
Any more info to get the right guy? What's his profile pic look like?
