Hey Fellas.
New here to the forum but not new to square bodies. I got my first pickup when I was 15 in 2004. 79 Chevy Silverado SWB 4x4. 20 years later I found her GMC sister. It’s a Royal Sierra, which I’ve gathered is rare, but not sure that it adds any value. 1979 GMC Royal Sierra K15 short box. 350/350. Power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, AC, electric clock. Has some rust, as it’s from the Seattle area. I probably severely overpaid as the engine is locked up. I imagine just from sitting. Seat and door panels are in beautiful condition. Odom reads 16xxx and I’m almost inclined to believe it with the lack of pedal wear and how clean the engine is. No way of knowing for sure though as the original owner has passed away. Plans are to attempt to get the engine unsiezed, polish it up, remove the billet grill, and just enjoy it before digging into rust repair. Something about this pickup just does it for me. Hope you guys like the pics.
