I don’t understand what makes these bands so expensive I would really like a new one for my gmc but the price is pretty steep

Yes they’re very expensive, I’m sure these vendors are making a hefty profit. I’ve found it less expensive to shop around for a plain band without an emblem. And buy the emblem separately.

I just tapped the dents out the best I could and got a new emblem from lmc not perfect but better then spending 350$

I’ve restored a couple of them, not that hard if they’re in good shape to start with.
