I installed Retro Belt 3-point belts up front in my 1987 R20 Suburban so figured I’d post some pics of how I installed them.
I used a pic from below through the original mounting nut (my truck was missing the inner receptacles), then used a razor blade to cut the carpet and some needle nose pliers to open the hole up.
On the outside, I used the angle bracket with the tall side up to get enough clearance for both bolts. I bolted the angle to the floor first, then bolted the retractor and other end of the 3-pt belt to the angle. Used the stock upper mount location and bolts.
Seems to work fine.
