I am replacing front window glass. On all the sites I’ve looked at so far there seemed to be basically two options, green or clear.

It’s hard for me to tell, which is going to match the original glass best?

Depends on what your truck has, green and clear were options when new. Green was referred to as “tinted glass”. Take a white piece of paper and hold it on one side while you look through. That’ll tell you what you need.

SPID she says A01 tinted glass. Obviously doubtful that the front glass is the original still, but the other three probably are.

No details of your truck?

I think the oldest trucks - true squarebodies- had brown at the top but the rounded line trucks were blue.

This came to my attention repairing the windshield of my 77. The glass guy only had BLUE when actually brown was correct.

I doubt you care but it doesn't change that fact. :headbang:
Some people may notice.

True squarebodies? A squarebody is 73-87+ 87-91. The earlier trucks weren't square even lol maybe 60-66, but calling them "true squarebodies" that's a hard sell.

The windshield in my 77 is factory original and definitely tinted green.
