Hello, I recently bought a new oxygen sensor for my 1987 GMC High Sierra 1500 and its super close to the oil filter and exaust. Its super super stuck on and i’m wondering how to get it off and if anyone has suggestions.
Thanks

Spray it with PB Blaster and let it soak overnite. Whack it with a hammer and wrench it.

Start out with PB blaster or penetrating oil.

Did you buy an O2 sensor wrench? They are designed to fit over the sensor and give you max mechanical advantage to get it off. You should be able to find one at NAPA or other parts store, or get it quick from Amazon.

I did try letting it run for awhile but that didnt work. I didnt get a wrench yet but plan on picking one up to try it!
