Many different aftermarket A/C systems in that era, all out of Texas. You would be much better off starting fresh with a company like Vintage Air

Agree, unless a donor vehicle is available. Pictures are too dark. Don't need to see the entire engine compartment just the component you're questioning. Am guessing but appears to be an aftermarket system. Would likely be more cost effective to buy a new complete system.

ikr lol i just bought it from a guy and its been sitting a field for a year or 2 so its been exposed to some rust and salt (by the coast)
