As a woman in her early 50s, I've never truly worked on vehicles and mostly always had a truck until 2 years ago when my 2019 Chevy started peeling paint and GM did nothing, so I got rid of it. So I decided to buy a square body to learn. My requirements were simple, no computers, it had to have a motor even if it didn't run quite right, be 4 wheel drive and have a decent frame. Well, thats what I got. Essentially, a roller (of course I didn't know what that was at the time. Lol) Lots of new/used parts were put on in the past couple of months and I am closer to getting her safely on the road. She's a bit of a Frankenstein but she's mine. I've been correcting all the Jerry-rigged stuff ( sorry to all Jerry's out there). Not going "original" but correct. Soon I'll be hauling home repair stuff and kayaks, etc. I do know that I will own a lift if I decide to do this again! Who knows, maybe I'll have to get a car trailer to tow the 71 vette!
