I need to clean off all the grime and brake dust on the inside to see the model number stamping and offset. Waiting for a warmer day to go at it with super clean and a wire wheel for the inside. For the face I’ll probably try white diamond or blue magic metal polish. Mothers wheel polish must... -
Wheel choices for 4x4
Found a set of 16x8 Mickey Thompson aluminum slots on marketplace. Need to clean them up but for $150 I’ll spend the time refurbishing them. Will have to see if they have enough offset for the draglink. Guy I bought them from had them on his GMT400 Tahoe. -

Even with my extended lugnuts, is this as simple as measuring 7/16 from end of wheel stud, mark it. Count the turns until I hit that mark, then mount wheel and hopefully I get the minimum amount of turns determined earlier. The internet says 8.5 turns for a 7/16 stud. I’ll double check that...- TDoc

K5 K10 17x8 or 17x9 vision Cheyenne Aluminum rally wheels?
The 16x8 AR172’s on my 79 k10 - Unfortunately the offset isn’t correct and the fronts hit the drag link. Used 5mm (3/16) spacers up front and the drag link clears just barely. The inner clip on wheel weights hit the drag link so I can solve that by going to stick on wheel weights. I’d like to...- TDoc

K5 Blazer values… possibly buying 86 k5
Swapped wheels with my k10 and went to 285/75/16 tire. Replaced the Ranchos with Bilstein 5125’s. Apparently this has a lift since full extension on the front is 20” and 26” for the rear shocks.- TDoc

The K5 got the Discount tire 16” wheels and tires from my k10 and the k10 got the AR172 16” wheels and tires. Both are 285/75/16 about 32.8” tire.- TDoc

Found these 16x9 wheels locally. Guy will take $250 for the set but said I need to run a 3/16 spacer up front to clear drag link. What do you all think? I have some 285/75/16 k02 load range E I would have mounted. BFG says they can fit 7.5-9” rims. American Racing AR62 Outlaw II- TDoc
