    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

Tubing being delivered today. Removing/repositioning the clip under the MM mounting plate is about the only way to move the fuel lines off of the header pipe..... BTW.....O'Reilly's was the only one of 4 local shops who could get a roll of nicopp delivered yesterday...for $71.00/25' roll...

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

Local parts stores did not have the fuel line longer than 6'. That left me about 1' short. My statement about the engineer is in regard to the placement of a retaining clip underneath the motor mount frame plate. This requires removal of the fuel pump and mounting plate, which can only be...

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

The fuel line is out...no easy feat. I did have to remove the motor mount frame plate and jack the motor over to the driver's side a bit. A couple of answers" Yes, the line has a hole in it. Definitely the source of the leak. No, 6' would not be long enough to replicate the factory line. I will...

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

Dunno why some whiz-bang engineer designed the routing of the metal lines under the motor mount plate.....they come way off the frame rail, but do not need to.... so far that they hit a header pipe... now I gotta replace 1 and re-bend (hopefully) the other 2... there is another hard line...

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

The supply line is the only active one in the system currently. The vent line is not connected, and the return line is connected to the fuel HP pump sump for the EFI I am installing.

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

Yup. you remember correctly...unfortunately. So, how do I extract that bolt without removing the mount & plate??? Also, there is a spot where all 3 hardlines rub up against a header tube; NOT good..... Sigh, gonna be busy........

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

NEWS FLASH !!!!! LMC TRUCK IS AN BRANCH OF THE CIA!! Tho they show connecting fuel/return lines to connect between the dual tanks, they show ONLY 1 tank to pump line. They do NOT specify if for dual tanks. So, I called them................ They would neither confirm nor deny that it will...

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

I tried that.........I was told that this item, understandably, carries a $20.00 oversize charge, and that the base shipping price is tied to the dollar value of the order... So, the more you purchase, the higher the shipping, and would still have that surcharge....

    Leaking Metal Fuel Line??

So far, the only source I have found for a pre-bent steel fuel line is LMC. They are verifying that their line can be used with my dual tank setup. Not too expensive itself, but shipping is high.. The longest 3/8" steel tube I have found is 6' and that isn't long enough..... Any suggestions?

    Down 1 Cylinder

Seems to have been a spark plug problem! I have swapped out 2 of the 3 and now have 2 more hot pipes...... Frankly I expected more out of the $9.00/ea Accel 414S plugs...... #2 was easy. #7 was accessible, or, at least I could SEE it......but replacing it was a chore behind the header tube...
