What locker shall I go for?
That's the route I would go if I were you. Just wanted to add this... Be realistic about it, adding any type of locker isn't going to make your truck perform like a 4x4. IMO they help a little, but not a lot.- mattsk8

I've read a couple places that because the Dana 44 is (a lot) lighter, it handles better. I've also read that unless you're going bigger than a 35" tire, the 44 is a great axle. I'd pull the dash pad and check where everything mounts. Take it for a drive with the dash pad removed and see if the squeak is gone. What you mentioned about the dyno numbers is worthy of it's own thread. I'm curious how much HP is actually lost in the drivetrain on a 3/4 ton 4x4 with lockers and 33"+ tires. I know they say roughly 15-20% if you have a RWD with normal tires. But I was pretty surprised when I saw a YouTube... -

What new tools have you got lately?
I know enough about carbs to be dangerous, but I'm definitely more used to Carter style carbs than Holley cuz that's what I always used in the past. Been running this current Holley for about 6 years now. Going to see if I can learn something. -
