    FWIW, I purchased this distributor for $83 based on the good reviews but wouldn't recommend it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TB5KGNX/ The wire connections are cheap and fit rather loosely. I wish I would have bought a better one but it works for now, especially after new springs.

    Good point on trans. It has a TH350. Don't know converter stall but I suspect it's stock.

    Initially set base timing at 10 but it sounded happier at 12. Also, 36 degrees total timing was at 3800 RPM. I only checked the vacuum one time at 12/36. 10-4 on fuel filter - hasn't run in awhile and wanted to see if I was getting crap from the tank. Will change before I'm roading it.

    Definitely not battery. Took a RV battery out my gate opener and same result - nothing. I'll start at the fuse panel next. All under dash wiring is a rat's nest from PO. A new Painless harness is looking nice but not for $550.
