Hmm, good info. I'm thinking the front strap bolt may need cut by a 1/2" after I put on the tank. I will NOT be able to get to it...

huh? Also just so you know, the tech 2 with a ALDL (Obd1) plug can only go back to 1991 using the 32mb universal card and 1991 coverage...

my issue with locking (manual) was i installed the cover wrong once, and i thought it was locked, but it turned out to be not locked...

i think thats because that manual was going to be very distinct compared to carburetion days, and that it probably applies to the other...
