I do that, the wiper blades and then clean with Rain-X glass cleaner. Traditional Rain-X, I've never had good luck with -

My son's truck was making that noise. It was bad wheel bearings. You may have a bad wear pattern that's not readily visible.

Try rebuilding or adjusting it properly. No one has EVER made a carb better when it's tuned properly.
