    Unknown Relay clicking

Ha!! Ya know, my day is never truly over until auto correct gets me at least once!

    Unknown Relay clicking

That looks like your conscience center. The round relay is your hazard relay. There two; the blinker relay is on the fuse box. I’d say that black relay is probably a horn relay. (yes I shamelessly stole this diagram)

What’s the best way to fix/clean up this wiring problem?

I don’t know what these circuits are each drawing but if it is less than 30amps, I would recommend this Amazon special. I installed it 6 months ago and no issues. 5 hot circuits, and 6 switched circuits. Connect a hot to the battery and a hot to a switched ignition relay from the fuse box. Power...

    4:10 gears for 86 k10

Revolution looks like quality stuff, but they don’t offer anything under 1988’ or less than a 4:10. Any other companies you would suggest for an 85’ K10??

LED exterior light conversion! not going well :(

The reason the dash blinker indicators glow with the headlights is also because of the LED bulbs. The 1157s are basically two independent circuits; one for marker and one for blinker. The LEDs are not two circuits. They are one circuit with a high (blinker) and a low (marker) so when you turn on...

    Tv cable

To answer the very first question in this post; Press the detention button on the side of the TV Cable mount near the carburetor. Hook up the cable to the carb and open the throttle to full (engine off of course). This will extend the TV cable to the proper length. FYI, this is only meant to...

    Keyless entry upgrade

I added this little guy two years ago. Wiring wasn’t a major pain and it is still working just fine. Since it triggers the locks by bypassing the switch, it actually is much stronger than using the door switch which in my truck barely has enough power to raise and lower both locks...

    LED conversion

I use these too. They work, but if you have marker lights on the blinker flash is so dim, it is barely discernible. They work great with no marker lights on.

Precision windshield gasket, self locking or lock strip?

FYI, I paid a guy to put mine in, but I bought the windshield seal with the chrome insert from LMC ahead of time so he would have all the parts. The LMC insert cracked and fell apart when he was putting it in, so I had to revert to the black insert. Hope this saves you a Few bucks and some time...

Help! My coolant temp heats up fast in idle or slow-moving traffic (around 210F+) then decreases when I start driving (around 170F-190)

If the fan keeps spinning after you shut off the truck, then (as stated above) bad clutch.

Gas to Diesel swap, question on fueling

https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/high-pressure-fuel-pump-install.45560/ righteous project I drive. Check out this thread I started. I recently switched over to in tank electric pumps. I think I solved a lot of the questions you have, but maybe not all of them. FYI, the inline pump after...

    High Pressure Fuel pump install

Thanks for the reply. Interesting solution. I didn’t think of powering the pumps through the switch from the sniper. I had it in my mind that some how I was going to have to use a relay so that I wasn’t pulling power through the stick wiring. The 12-308 says they need a minimum 12guage wire...

    Cowl Piece

That is an access door to unbolt the wiper motor from the wiper arm linkage to replace the motor. I believe they originally came with rubber grommets that covered the whole. I couldn’t find one and ended up making a new door out out a piece of sheet metal and sealed it with silicone Do...

A new comer with a problem

Yes, they will ship full panels via FedEx. The largest thing I bought from them was a full radiator support.
