I bought this square with the idea of making it a daily driver while getting various "running repairs" done that "should have been done" several times over since it was purchased new in 1984 by a rancher in Texas. I am still finding "ranch repairs" on the truck yet. The current several that are bggling me are the temperature gauge; (reading high), the trailer harness, and the year of the 350 in the truck; a friend suggested 1973 or 1974 by how it looked to him. I need to pull the alternator & associated bracketry off to check the engine code to see what year it was made. Future ideas for the truck will be a full rebuild from the frame up restoration and new paint & driveline with possible upgrades to a Dana 44 front axle and a crate 350 and a transmission rebuild.
