    Bought my 1984 Chevy C30 crew cab dually for $3100 in 2021. Bought my 1991 Chevy R10 Suburban for $5000 in March 2024.

    I got an Edelbrock Rochester Quadrajet carburetor off of ebay, so far it idles good. Has anyone used this Edelbrock carburetor? I'm needing feedback on its performance.

    Edelbrock 750 cfm or 600 cfm carburetor for 454 stock engine.

    It would stall when I'm driving. I start it up and it would stall when I put the transmission in drive. Gotta wait till it cools down for issues to go away.

    My Edelbrock 2161 intake also takes Quadrajet. It's that the Edelbrock I have has a idle up solenoid. The 750 CFM Edelbrock carburetor is malfunctioning so I wonder if I have too much CFM. When the engine is hot it would stall. See the solenoid?

    I jazzed up the interior. If you look carefully you'll see ham radios, rear view mirror with compass and thermometer as well as billet trim for the doors and dash.

    I had my mechanic try to put headers in and 2 inches from where they're supposed to be set in place they kept hitting the frame so they won't work for my truck so now I'm gonna sell the headers. You may be interested in them and the reducer collectors, bolts and collector gaskets. Cost plus...

    Were you able to keep your stock spark plugs and are they able to be changed without interference?

    Which cfm of carburetor do you recommend for Edelbrock carburetor on a 1984 Chevy C30 crew cab with a stock engine? I'm looking for fuel economy. It has air conditioning and power brakes/power steering if that makes a difference.

    How much clearance between the headers and oil filter do you have? I had Summit Racing full length headers that was right on the oil filter and dented it. Just want to make sure I can change the filter without issues.
