What are your cruise AFR and total timing specs? -
CIt won't matter one way or the other. And having an egr valve on your old manifold won't matter either,you can leave the valve in place...

Cseal 'em from what? Ive put grease or anti seize on 'em to keep from rusting stuck and breakin' off when removal time comes
