what does a 1980 gmc grille look like

Ok guys its been forever since I have posted, been busy with school an all that boring stuff I sold my 86 k20, and here recently i worked out a deal with my uncle and I will be getting a 1980 GMC k10 high sierra for pretty much free. My main question is what did the 1980 gmc grille look like? also not to mention this truck has the square headlights and the big headlight bezels. It has an ugly rusty chrome bar grille and it just kills the looks of the truck

cool, does anyone know if anyone is making a repro of that year grille?

I would keep the grill that's on it and just clean it up, then maybe spray it with krylon chrome spray paint or some ****.

I'm just more of an original OEM kind of guy. My plans for this truck is to do a frame off resto, and paint it blue and white. I have learned to hate aftermarket junk, after working in a body shop when I'm not in school.

You are stuck looking for a good used grille, nothing is repopped for the older GMC's.
