Hey guys! New here to this forum, thought I'd share my project with you.
Its an 82 crew cab camper special 2wd. I'm bagging and body dropping at the same time as the engine swap.
I'm installing a 95 p-pump 12v along with a already built 47re trans from the donor truck. I thought I'd make it more of a challenge making this fit under a stock hood and running the industrial engine driven air compressor to run my air suspension and air tools.

This is the passenger "mid mount" modeled after the bell housing mounts found on the class 8 trucks. Left side of the pic is the trans bell housing bolts sandwiching the new mounts to the frame on the right of the pic. Same thing on the drivers side

This is the removable trans mount using 7/16 plate. Since most all the weight is taken up now by the front mounts, this is just here to keep the tail shaft from moving around during high loads

First of many test fits of the cab with the frame z'ed and motor dropped in

Here is my air compressor off an F700 school bus. It will fit without trimming if one was not doing a bodydrop

There is room to use the factory location engine mounts, but they would have to be custom mounts to fit in a tighter area

Don't get me wrong, this thing is HUGE! Weighs 50lbs without the hydraulic pump on the end

Good idea on the mounts, especially the front one, that will make it a little easier by just replacing the front cross member for others going through this swap.

Nice work on the trans tunnel by the way.

And that's just primer and rattle can! This isn't the exact color, but close enough for right now

I think you could use a little more bracing here

I think the biggest reason that transmission cross members have 2 dimensional bracing is because of the rotational force applied to the cross member and now that you have the bigger torque from the 12V, I would definitely put some vertical bracing on that cross member
