Deep drop bumper mounting spacers needed

Yep, whatever the thickness needs to be (I'm guessing 3/8"), just get some 3" wide flat stock from a local farm or hardware store and make spacer plates.

    Mandrel exhaust shop

I've never run across a single exhaust shop that does mandrel bends. Even back when custom exhaust shops were everywhere around here.

    I need a donut

Do you have cast manifolds or the tubular stainless ones? I don't know if it makes a difference, but it might. The donuts you need, are they tapered on both sides or just one? Do you know the ID of the manifold outlets?

Lawn/ Garden tractors/ Riding Mowers, Cool Mods and tinkering

My lower hood has a couple cracks, but the top hood is extremely brittle. Where can I get one? No ma'am, the 147 Cub gets a 14 hp single cylinder (I've still got the original engine parts too) and the 127 Cub has a 12 hp single cylinder.

    Let’s see your memorabilia?!

Today I was seeing what treasures were stashed in a parts car that I recently bought and discovered that I now own a billboard sign, lol. It was folded up neatly in the car, but I had just assumed it was a pool cover or bale stack tarp or something. I believe it's about 20 years old. My wife...

What have you done to your square lately??

The left rear tire on the camo truck lost most of it's tread on friday: So yesterday I did some swapping with the rusty Suburban. The camo truck got the 36" radials and the Suburban got the 38's to hold it up off the ground for now. Now I need to save my pennies and hopefully buy a new...

    Trim codes 77B and 77I

The dark maple was a red-ish maroon or burgundy color. The brown interior should be the one sometimes called mahogany. Your seat is aftermarket and has faded to a much brighter red color.

    Fix dragging doors. Shims

I had the door open on my Suburban yesterday and remembered to take a picture of the shims. After years of dirt and debris, they blend right in, lol.

What new tools have you got lately?

It's unbelievable how crappy the Harbor Freight tap and die sets were/are. They were still peddling the same garbage as recently as 2.5 years ago. You could visibly see f#cked up threads and some kind of casting flash all in them. They literally were not even fit to cut threads in plastic. This...

    Jack for Spare 35’s

I've been carrying the same bottle jack for years, with it often stored in the bed, exposed to the elements. Even the cheap bottle jacks are pretty darn reliable. No matter which type of jacking device you choose, there are going to be minor safety concerns that you need to be aware of...

    Fix dragging doors. Shims

You shouldn't have to mess with the top bolts at all. Just loosen the bottom bolts, lift up on the door a bit and slide the shims in. Really the only thing you need to watch out for is not to change the in-out adjustment at the bottom of the door when you have the bolts loose.

Is this the camper wiring on my 1981 C20 Camper Special

Something like that, yes. I'll try to remember to crawl under and get a picture. And to refresh my memory.

What have you done to your square lately??

I was gonna say... I've seen those cars posted here before, lol. You took pictures of them a while back, didn't you? If not, I've driven past there before. I know I've seen 'em.

What new tools have you got lately?

Did they finally improve them? The sets they used to sell in the plastic cases were utter garbage. Like, completely not usable. Might as well just burn your money. The pipe tap sets in the wood cases are decent however.

Is this the camper wiring on my 1981 C20 Camper Special

My '79 Camper Special still has an unused factory harness taped up in that location. Slide-in campers often had their own taillights and clearance lights, so the typical light wires would have been useful.

Deep drop bumper mounting spacers needed

Pictures would help. Many aftermarket bumpers were designed to fit GM, Ford and Dodge trucks. The mounting kits usually came with brackets and spacer plates.

    Under the Sheets. Supra MK3

I haven't seen one of those cars in years. When I worked at the shop, there was a regular customer that had one. It was dark blue with a blue interior, also an automatic. Very clean. I had driven it a bunch, but I honestly don't remember much about how it ran and drove. Been gone from the shop...

85 K10 donor and parts for sale

I really would like to do that, just zero time in the next month or so. My only time at home is unplanned and spur of the moment. You didn't go pick up that bed near Philly?

Damn I wish I had the time right now. BTW, imho the rusty cab just sweetens the deal. From what I remember, it's plenty repairable.

    Anybody try these?

Lol, I just mentioned Phoenix Graphix in another thread. Although I misspelled it. They've been around for a long time. From what I remember, if something is not dead nuts like original, they are up front about it in the description.

Phoenix Graphix maybe? Were the original stripes painted or decals? Also, I'd really like to see pictures of your truck too!

What have you done to your square lately??

I still can't believe I let mine go for pennies years ago. Ah, who am I kidding. Even if I realized how hard they were to find, I still would have let them go cheap to someone that would use them, lol.
