    I need a donut

Lol yep. Idk why, but I LOVE these little wax donuts. They're horrible for you but I even like them better than "real" donuts :rotflmao:

    I need a donut

I get my donuts at QuikTrip lol That’s aggravating not being able to find them but not surprising either. When the fuel pump died on my 305, I had to go to 7…SEVEN parts stores to find one that carried a small block fuel pump. Thankfully this one had all 3 versions for my year but that was...

Deep drop bumper mounting spacers needed

Yep, many of those bumpers were universal so there's no particular set of hardware or anything to be sourced, just have to either make or come up with something that will fit. As stated above, I'd just get some flat stock and make it fit

    Power window motor?

My fancy winders have decided to start giving me problems now. I think I might've pinched a wire somewhere under the dash when I put everything back together for the console/stereo:893Chainsaw-Smilie-

    6.0 w/ TH400

Hit up BP Automotive and they can get you what you need. It's as close to plug and play as it gets, you'll need to splice in like 4-5 wires https://bp-automotive.com/

1983 K10 saddle tank replacement with in frame tank

If you filled in the marker lights, you might could swap the fenders from side to side to put the filler in the rear lol

Undertightened cork gasket on TH350 and whole thing flooded, clean and reuse?

^Agreed, I hate cork as well. Every T350 I've worked on, we used a metal core gasket and put RTV on both sides.

    Header Gaskets

I'm now on my 3rd set of MLS gaskets with my Speed Engineering headers and they leak. 1st set lasted a long time, 2nd and 3rd leaked almost immediately. The flanges are good and thick but I guess they've warped by now. I think I'll give RemFlex a try for the next ones

    Door Seal to big

That's totally normal. I put new door seals on mine 2 years ago and still have to shut mine harder than before. Completely worth it for the better seal/less wind noise IMO.

    1972 GMC C10

I do believe the "gold" trim in '77 was Ochre. "Schoolbus Yellow" varies wildly depending on who's paint it is/what district the busses are from, at least around here. We have everything from pale/powdery yellow to Ochre busses. My dad retired from 2 different school systems as transportation...

What have you done to your square lately??

Another option might be some Lizard Skin. They make a heat barrier version and it can be spray to a similar appearance to the texture of the factory fiberglass. I believe it can be tinted any color as well https://lizardskin.com/heat-protection/

Steering box frame reinforcement weld in plates

It's definitely more common in 4x4s and 20/30s that were worked hard but can happen on C10s. My buddy's '86 shortbed was cracked bad enough the box nearly pulled off the frame and was driving horribly.

    1972 GMC C10

That sounds like a cool old truck! Hopefully you guys can get the motor unstuck. It may not have a trans in it or the linkage may be unhooked or boogered up. At least the brakes aren't locked down!

    What is this?

    That's basically what happened lol

    What is this?

Yep, that's the ESC box. It has a harness that goes out into the engine bay and connects to the dizzy. I ran my swap harness through it's hole in the firewall and mounted my computer in that spot since I have the smaller E40 computer

    87 K10 Original seats?

It's gonna be expensive no matter which route you go lol

    87 K10 Original seats?

Those may be "original" to that truck, but they're not GM seats. If the truck was "done up" at a dealer or one of those conversion companies, those seats were usually part of one of those packages. If you like 'em, have 'em redone. If you don't, there's many, many places to get seats for these...

Are hood latches interchangeable between 76 and 77?

Nope, that's it. When we swapped out '76 shop truck to a '73/74 core support and grille, we simply swapped the latch and center grille support to match. Just take your time adjusting the latch and you'll be fine
