I have an original AC Delco serpentine belt kit for my motor but with all the customizing, etc. its too short. I ran a cloth measuring tape on the pulleys and found it to be almost 4" longer than the 'original' (this with the tensioner fully retracted).
Question I have is: do you measure the...
Built one of these setups - some have probably seen it online. FWIW...any vids you see on this setup, pay no attention to their measurements as your shop vac is probably different.
Idea is the dust 'cyclone' swirls the debris around, with air being light - it passes on while the particles drop...
Local hardware still carries Irwin (USA) taps and thread dies. I buy them 1-2 at a time. They hold up quite well. Like most of everything they sell, the HF junk I dont even consider.
You fellas know more about it than me, but I'm a huge fan of relays and surprised they aren't discussed more with trucks that had few to none - especially after we mod them. I worked on cars for years that loved to dump 2-3 25A+ circuits on a single 30A relay and then talk about its...

I have Edelbrock E-Tec (vortec style) heads and anything I saw that looked interesting never mentioned...

I used the rear line but the fronts were too long. They are braided stainless and measure 25" long. If you have any use for them, shoot me an offer.
I went to the hardware and got the same looking carriage bolts only in stainless. Then I polished the heads on a wheel into a mirror like reflection. I think they look better than the bumper (currently). lol
Messing with peripherals until its warm enough out to paint. Finally got all the new parking brake cables installed. Once in, they rubbed against one of my rear sway brackets, so modded a couple of insulated cable straps and made it so the cables wont touch anything. Next up is finishing the...
