    That looks like what you need, as long as it is the correct one for your carburetor number. It sounds like your fuel pump and lines are probably fine. 6 ounces in 10 seconds is like 67 gallons an hour. I dont think you could burn that much, even with a big load of hay on back.

    Cold starting would be more about the choke adjustment and pump shot. If it starts with a primer of gas down the carburetor, that would indicate that it is not getting enough gas.     Nice looking old truck. Did you replace the little fuel filter in the carburetor? All of that sounds like a carburetor problem. Maybe it needs cleaned up again. I can't think of how new intake manifold gaskets will help that problem.

    I've got a set of those headers on my SHOP FLOOR. I don't think that they will fit on anything, but the break in stand. (I fell for it too) I just used the stock manifolds, and they work great. No burnt plug wires, header leaks, etc...

    Brake Booster Vacuum re-location?

    Run your brake booster to the one on the back of the carburetor and get a combination vacuum fitting for the manifold for the PCV, heater control and automatic transmission. Get a short one so it clears the bowl on the carb. You may need a spacer under the carb. Something like that.

    If you are not moving, with the clutch in, they should not grind. If you are trying to get it into L or R with it rolling, they will probably grind a little. If they grind when you are not moving, your clutch will probably need adjusting or replaced.
