What new tools have you got lately?
Yesir I made the same mistake buying those. I just needed to chase the threads in the hedder bolt holes to clean them up. Nope! Won't even do that. Trash! Almost broke one about two turns in. Lol- 82sbshortbed

I don't like the edelbrock carbs. Quadrajet is what gm put on these and that's be best one for the trucks imo. I replaced it with the Quadrajet and it runs great.- 82sbshortbed

I'd get a quadrajet from nationalcarbureators.com in Florida. I did and you won't be disappointed. It comes ready to slap on right out the box.- 82sbshortbed

What have you done to your square lately??
Buffed out the passenger side. Came out pretty good. Still got the back of the cab and roof to do. Then coat it with some wax with the da and should be good for now. Went through 3 wool pads too- 82sbshortbed

I remember when I had the 454 put it I drove it home with open hedders until I could get it to the muffler shop. It was loud but fun. Lol- 82sbshortbed
